About Azimut
Founded in 1969 by Paola Vitelli, Azimut Yachts started out chartering sailing boats before being appointed to distribute manufacturers’ boats throughout Italy. Operations shortly expanded which saw Azimut begin designing new yachts. In 1985 Azimut acquired the historical brand Benetti and as a result, designed the megayacht concept and began constructing its own yachts.
Today, Azimut is positioned as a world leader within the luxury yachting market, with each and every yacht manufactured with comfort, safety, technology and elegant living in mind.
